| Each year, Our Medical Team handles hundreds of Medical Evaluation Cases, among which, many these cases require Emergency Medical Evacuation, while others require Hotel/House Visit Services in various cities in China. Patients under Our Care and Arrangements for Medical Evacuation have been transferred to Major Cities or Regional Centers in Chinese Mainland. Others are Medical Evacuation to: Hong Kong or to Countries in the Region, including: Mongolia, Japan, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom, France, Germany, USA, Tunisia, or returned to China through above Countries or Regions. |

In the evening of June 8, 2006, the sight-seeing bus carrying 20 Hong Kong Tourists crashed into the river along side the National Road in Xingshan County. 12 passengers were injured, and 3 died. When We received the alarm of Hong Kong Insurance Company, our coordinating Doctors contacted the local receiving Hospital: Xingshan Hospital. A Triaged or analytical Check of the basic Condition of the wounded passengers was made. In view of the restricted Rescue capability of local Hospital, we immediately initiated our local Hospital and Medical Network. A Tertiary Hospital nearest Xingshan County, the People¡¯s Central Hospital of Yichang was contacted by Our Staff of Doctors, and they coordinated with the Hospital President to send a Medical Team and Ambulance to Xingshan County that night. In less than 4 hours of receiving this alarm, the Rescue Team, consisting of Orthopedic Experts, Surgical Experts, and Ambulance arrived at the sickbed to carry out consultation and evaluation, and console them to the Hong Kong Insurance Company. By the next morning, the Rescue Team decided to transfer the 5 severely injured patients of fracture, brain trauma from Xingshan Hospital to the People¡¯s Central Hospital of Yichang for further treatment. We guaranteed the Treatment Fees in Xingshan Hospital and the People¡¯s Central Hospital of Yichang. After stabilization of the Medical Condition, our coordinating Doctor and the local treating Doctors of Yichang carried out simultaneous Triage Evaluations in order to ascertain which Patients were suitable for Air Transfer. Through careful preparations and arrangements, and under escort of Medical Staff from Hong Kong, all the wounded returned to Hong Kong safely via Air on the evening of June 9th. |
